NPC Companions

Things can get a little lonely in the mines, so why can’t you bring a special someone along with you in Stardew Valley? And no, we aren’t talking about co-op.

This impressive mod (released and currently in Alpha mode) allows you to bring NPC’s (specifically the Bachelors or Bachelorettes) along with you whether it’s on the farm, fishing, or in the depths of the mines. You just have to have at least two friendship hearts with one of them and exhaust all the daily dialog for the option to bring them along to show up.

Each available NPC has its own special bonus as well, for example, Sam gives you +2 speed, Haley gives you +3 luck, and Alex gives you 20%+ attack. Some even have a special perk as well like healing you when you are under 80% health or doubling the effects of your special rings.
