Today SNK is taking a short break from revealing characters coming to The King of Fighter XV, and instead we get a reveal for Samurai Shodown.

To be more precise, we get the gameplay trailer featuring Shiro Tokisada Amakusa, who will be released as a playable DLC on June 14, which is the same day as the Steam launch for the game.

You can watch him in action below.

Shiro Tokisada Amakusa will be the third character of the third season pass following Hibiki Takane and Cham Cham, We already know that the fourth character will be a guest from the Guilty Gear franchise. At the moment, no hints about who that might be have been revealed besides a 2021 release window.

The game is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Switch, PC via Epic Games Store, and Google Stadia.

If you’re missing the weekly The King of Fighter XV reveal, don’t worry. They will resume next week on June 9. Incidentally, the game has just been delayed to Q1 2022.
