The announcement comes from the American and European branches of the publisher, and we’re getting release on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean in 2020.

No specific launch date was shared, and this time around it appears that there are no additional platforms, at least for now. The announcement mentions only PS4.

You can watch the western trailer in English below.

The game will include a whopping 183 mobile suits from 36 Mobile Suit Gundam series, and it’s being launched to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Extreme Vs. series, which debuted in 2010.

If you’re unfamiliar with Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxiboost ON, it was originally released in Japanese arcades in 2016. It’s a 2 vs. 2 fighting action game that is extremely popular in local game centers.

The game will be showcased at Taipei Game Show, where it’ll have a dedicated stage event on February 5 at 3 pm Japan time. The stage show will be livestreamed on YouTube, and we’re likely going to see a nice slice of gameplay.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxiboost ON launches worldwide in 2020 exclusively for PS4.
