Following the announcement of the PS4 release of Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON, Bandai Namco released the first trailer and announced the first details.
The trailer showcases the first look at gameplay that will certainly prove familiar to those who played the arcade version originally released in 2016.
You can watch it below.
We also get the first details for the 2020 release, which will support up to two players locally and up to four online.
The game will include a whopping 183 mobile suits from 36 Mobile Suit Gundam series, and it’s being launched to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Extreme Vs. series, which debuted in 2010.
We also learn that the game will be showcased at Taipei Game Show, where it’ll have a dedicated stage event on February 5 at 3 pm Japan time. The stage show will be livestreamed on YouTube, so you can look forward to that.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Extreme Vs. Maxi Boost ON launches in Japan in 2020 exclusively for PS4. A western release has not been announced for now.
Hopefully, Bandai Namco will being it west as it did for Gundam Versus in 2017. For now, all we can do is wait and see.
