Metal Max Xeno Reborn Gets New Screenshots and Limited Edition for Japan

Following yesterday’s announcement of the Japanese release date of the  Metal Max Xeno remake Metal Max Xeno Reborn, Kadokawa Games followed up with official screenshots and more details.

First of all, we get to see a few full-resolution screenshots showcasing the Iron Base, our characters, tanks, and monsters.

This includes the new dynamic battle system and the ability to snipe enemies at long range.

We also learn that the game will come with an early-purchase benefit called “Super Wan Wan Gourmet,” which is dog food for the newly-introduced dog Pochi that will improve his abilities.

Secondly, we take a look at the limited edition, which includes a collectors’ box, an engine for your vehicles called “Old Friend R,” a special soundtrack CD, a booklet, a manga, and a set of pins.

Lastly, we learn that there will be an event on January 17 that will showcase the first actual gameplay.

A sequel titled Metal Max Xeno Reborn 2 (of which you can check out the first artwork) is slated for a 2020 release on the same platforms, while a reboot of the series titled Code Zero is coming down the line still doesn’t have a release window of platforms.
