Can You Mute Annoying Mics in Modern Warfare 2?
There are two methods for muting other players’ mics in CoD Modern Warfare 2: either individually or altogether. We’ve gathered the steps for both:
- Open the scoreboard.
- Highlight a player’s name and press the Toggle Mute button.
On PlayStation consoles, the default button is X; on Xbox consoles, it’s A; on PC, you have to right-click the player’s name and select “Toggle Mute.”
- If you’d like to mute more than one person, open the game menu and select the Settings tab.
- Now pick Audio and scroll down to Voice Chat.
- In the drop-down menu, you choose your preferred option.
You’re welcome to disable voice chat entirely, everyone but your party, or everyone but your friends.
