Ghost of Tsushima: How to Get Supplies

Ghost of tsushima supplies

Supplies may sound like a general name for a group of items in Ghost of Tsushima, but you’d be wrong. Supplies are actually a specific item type that you’ll need to get your hands on fairly often in your adventure. In this guide, we’ll talk you through everything you need to know on how to get supplies in Ghost of Tsushima.

Getting More Supplies in Ghost of Tsushima

The good news is, much like linen, supplies can be found by exploring general urban areas that you come across in the world. Specifically, you want to keep an eye out for abandoned buildings, as you’ll more often than not find some supplies lying around inside.

Just like all other materials such as bamboo and linen, supplies will flash when they’re in your view. This makes them easier to spot.

When you find some, simply walk on over to them and then press R2 to pick them up. They will then automatically be added to any existing supplies you were already carrying around.

In our experience, while Supplies are found all over Tsushima, you will typically find larger bundles hidden within chests that are found in enemy encampments. Sometimes, even, with bandits encountered across the map. It’s fairly random, honestly, but if you’re looking for high quantities then keep your eyes peeled for chests and visit areas where high volumes of enemies are present.

Fastest Way to Get Supplies

In addition to searching enemy locations for large stockpiles of Supplies, your best bet to get Supplies quickly is to actually search for Linen. Why? Because Linen can be sold to Trappers for x15 Supplies.

What Supplies Are Used For

While there’s no crafting in Ghost of Tsushima, the various NPCs you can trade with in Ghost of Tsushima will want different materials for different items.

Supplies are actually the most useful item you can come across in the game, as the Bowyer, Armorer, Swordsmith and Trapper will all ask for Supplies at one point or another. Though, it’s worth keeping in mind that Supplies are only required when trading for ammo and resources with the Trapper.

That’s everything you need to know on how to get supplies in Ghost of Tsushima. For more tips, tricks, and guides, be sure to check out our guide wiki, or more of our coverage on the game below.
