Gnawing Hunger Stats & Rolls

In terms of PvP, auto rifles aren’t in the best spot right now, but the Gnawing Hunger is an example of one that packs a real punch.

The Curated Roll is Overflow, which extends magazine capacity if you pick up Special or Heavy ammo. And you have Rampage, which stacks base damage (3x max) for killing enemies consecutively.

We recommend fitting barrels that improve range and recoil for PvP, such as Arrowhead Brake, and Smallbore. As for the magazine, Tactical Mag is a good choice for increasing stability and reload speed.

As for perk slots, Subsistence is also excellent for PvP, as is Zen Moment and Rampage, and Swashbuckler. The latter two there are also generally good for PvE as well.

How to get Gnawing Huner in Destiny 2

To get Gnawing Hunger you’ll need to take on The Reckoning, which you should already be familiar with if you’ve been playing Destiny 2 for some time. As a reminder, though, The Reckoning is a PvE activity accessed via the Gambit section of The Director screen.

The Gnawing Hunger is a Tier 2 or 3 boss drop. Your best chance of getting it as a drop is when grinding the Likeness of Oryx boss, so you’ll want to time your grind for when that boss rotates on. This should be every other week.
