How to Get Stormdancer’s Brace in Destiny 2

Stormdancer’s Brace are obtained via random world drops from Destiny 2: Shadowkeep. Meaning, there’s no quest or sure-fired way to get the exotic chest armor introduced in Shadowkeep. And, because it’s a year 3 item, Xur won’t sell it either. You’re going to have to pray to the RNG gods for this one.

Exotic engrams are a great way to try and get an exotic weapon or armor. These drop just like normal legendary engrams and can be gained from completing activities… it’s just they are extremely rare.

While they don’t guarantee you’ll get the exotic you want it’s pretty much the only option you have. If you can get high enough to complete the Garden of Salvation though, you can get a good amount of additional opportunities for an exotic drop.

Each chest AKA activity you complete in the Garden of Salvation raid is an “exotic chest.” In other words, they all have a chance of dropping a year 3 exotic, including Stormdancer’s Brace.

They reset on a weekly basis so be sure to come back each week, or with another character to try.

Information, Perks, & More

Stormdancer’s Brace, unsurprinsgly, contains an interesting perk worth considering for Stormtrancer Warlocks:

  • Ascending Amplitude: Each enemy you defeat with Stormtrance increases damage you deal with Stormtrance.

This is excellent if your role in the group is to clear adds as it will help you quickly stack up extra damage to clear out a room and potentially lead to better single-target DPS as well which is not usually the MO for ol’ tickle fingers.

Well, that’s everything you need to know about how to get the Stormdancer’s Brace exotic warlock chest armor in Destiny 2 Shadowkeep. For more helpful tips and tricks for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, be sure to check out our ever-growing guides wiki for the new expansion.
