Ascendant Lens in Destiny 2 & What it Does (2021)

Similar to the toothbrush and Spider Vision, there are a few quirky things you can unlock in Festival of the Lost occasionally. The Ascendant Lens, in last year’s version you had to collect 45 Cipher Decoders and do a bunch of grindy activities. The rest is irrelevant at this point in 2021 since, sadly, if you didn’t do it last year there’s no way get it anymore in Destiny 2 as of this year’s Festival of the Lost.

Once you’ve done all that, Spider would then summon you to the Tangled Shore. For all of your grinding, he rewarded you with the Ascendant Lens and you’ll also unlock the Through the Looking Glass triumph.

After that what the Ascendant Lens was a complete mystery… until Festival of the Lost 2021. If you obtained it last year and either hanged onto it, or fished it out of your collection, you can now turn it into Mara Sov for a one-time reward of three rolls of Jurassic Green, this year’s Festival of the Lost weapon, and some candy.

So congrats if you grinded it out last year, hopefully, you get a good roll! That’s all you need to know about the Ascendant Lens in Destiny 2’s Festival of the Lost 2021 event. Mystery solved! For more Destiny 2, check out more of our recent content below.
