The downtime for Dauntless’ new season, known as Fortune & Glory, has begun and the update is now live and able to be downloaded. The new content due to be added to the game is pretty sizeable, with new rewards to earn and trials to complete. So that you’re ready for the download, here’s everything you need to know about what the Dauntless Fortune & Glory install size is.
Dauntless Fortune & Glory’s Install Size
On PS4, the install size of the update is 6.841 GB. We do not know as of yet what the size is on Xbox One, but since this is an update rather than the install of a new game, you can expect it to be around the same size across both consoles. On PC, we think it’s around the 4.9 GB mark, but we don’t know for sure.
Of course, we will update you here once we know the exact size on those other platforms. For now, though, be sure to have about the 6.8 GB free that is required on Sony’s console, since that’ll be about what you need.
The downtime is expected to be about two hours since the release of the update at 1 pm PT, so you’ll have plenty of time to download it and be ready to hunt those behemoths once it is time to jump in.
As for what to expect, The Trials of Lady Luck will pit you against new behemoths that have been “enhanced by dangerous modifiers, making them deadlier than anything you’ve seen in the wild so far. Think Nayzaga with Ragetail Gnasher’s shockwaves and Shrowd’s near-sight vision.”
There’s all that on top of the new Season 2 Hunt Pass.
