Animal Crossing New Horizons: How to Get Froggy Chair

The Animal Crossing New Horizons 2.0 update has arrived, bringing a ton of new content to the game. Players can get a handful of new villagers, plant crops, change Island ordinance, visit Brewster at the Roost do a spot of cooking, stretch with their villagers, and even visit Harv’s island to find a ton of new shops and stalls to interact with. Alongside all of that, Nintendo opted to finally add in a fan-favorite item in the form of the Animal Crossing New Horizons Froggy Chair.

What’s so special about this chair? Well, it’s a chair, that’s also shaped like a frog with a beaming smile on its face. Honestly, if you need any more explanation as to why you need this chair in your life, we’re a little concerned.

Getting the Froggy Chair in Animal Crossing New Horizons

The Froggy Chair can be bought from Timmy and Tommy Nook by visiting their shop. The chair should be just there in his shop ready for you to go and interact with it and purchase.

When you do this, Tom Nook will tell you the prices. Confirm you’re happy to hand over the Bells and the Animal Crossing New Horizons Froggy Chair will be yours.

Unfortunately, this does mean that your chances of getting the Froggy Chair come down to getting lucky and having it show up in the rotation of items. From our time playing New Horizons’ 2.0 update so far — which introduced the chair — we’ve yet to find the ability to trigger it appearing.

Should we find another way of purchasing the Froggy Chair, we’ll update this post and let you know.

That’s everything you need to know on how to get the Froggy Chair in Animal Crossing New Horizons. For more tips, tricks and guides, head over to our wiki, or see more of our coverage on the game below.
