This summon is located deep underground in Nokron, the Eternal City. These are the steps you’ll need to follow to enter the city and claim the Spirit Ashes:

How to Get Mimic Tear Ashes Summon in Elden Ring:

  1. Defeat Starscourge Radahn in Caelid, to the east, to open up the pathway to the full Nokron area.

Once he’s defeated, a giant hole in the ground will open up near the Fort Haight West Site of Grace in Limgrave.

  2. Descend into the spot where rocks are floating up into the sky to get to Nokron.

It can be easily be seen from the Site of Grace mentioned above.

  3. Once inside Nokron, make your way to the Night’s Sacred Ground part of Nokron.

Go to the spot on the map shown below. You’ll need to fight a Mimic Tear boss and several enemies on the way there.

  4. Use a Stonesword Key to open up a fog door that leads to a chest containing the Mimic Tear Ashes Summon.

Defeat the one enemy waiting inside the room to get to the chest. It isn’t a tough enemy and you can start the fight off with a backstab since it isn’t facing you.

This Spirit Summon works differently than other summons, as it’ll consume 660 HP instead of using FP. It’ll then create a full copy of your character like the Mimic Tear boss did, which includes whatever armor and weapons you currently have equipped. This summon can also use flasks to heal, has infinite FP, and unlimited use of any items you have on hand.

It becomes even more powerful once Roderika upgrades it using Ghost Glovewort — a plant that can be found in abundance in Nokron. It’s easily one of the best Spirit Ashes in the entire game if you have high-level gear.

That’s everything you need to know about how to get the Mimic Tear Ashes Summon in Elden Ring. Be sure to check out our guide wiki for more tips, tricks, and other useful item locations as you explore the Lands Between.
