Today, Muv-Luv publisher aNCHOR revealed new gameplay and information about the new mecha action game Project Mikhail during a livestream from Japan.
We get to take a look at a number of gameplay clips introduced by the game’s producer Sho Hamanaga. We see both battle and customization of the franchise’s iconic mecha called TSF.
You can check it out below, alongside more gameplay from the previous event. You can also enjoy the new reveal of the brand new reveal of the Muv-Luv Alternative Anime series, which will air in October.
We hear that while the game is now planned for a release for PC and Nintendo Switch, ports to PlayStation, Xbox, Android, and iOS are still very much a possibility after release, when the developers will decide whether to prioritize updating or porting to other platforms depending on the situation. While the plan was to launch in August, September appears to be the new target.
The single-player mode will focus on enjoying the story and customizing one’s TSF mecha. Battles will focus on emphasizing skill, satisfaction, and tactical gameplay. You’ll be able to counter by defending with the appropriate timing, and it’ll be important to change your fighting style depending on the type and number of BETA involved in an encounter.
If you’re interested in the Muv-Luv franchise in general, during recent events we saw the reveal of the official title of Muv-Luv Resonative (which is the continuation of The Day After) and another trailer of the upcoming Muv-Luv Alternative anime series.
A few months ago, we heard the much-awaited announcement that Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (also known as Rumbling Hearts) will finally be released in English.
