Today Muv-Luv publisher aNCHOR had a few announcements to make during a livestream.
First of all, we learn that the upcoming free-to-play mecha action game Project Mikhail will require a bit longer in the oven. It has been delayed to August.
On top of that, we also get a platform change. It will now launch on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch instead of PC and mobile as initially announced.
We then get to see a new gameplay trailer, which you can enjoy below.
More developers are being brought on board to work on the game, alongside the new producer Sho Hamanaga.
Hamanaga-san announced that the game will get Guild vs Guild PvP (in October) and showcased a new roadmap for development below.
We also get the announcement of Muv-Luv Verse, which will be entering beta in April, with the service beginning in May.
It’s a web service that will basically play the role of an online theme park about Muv-Luv, connecting players and fans.
There will also be an on online event during the Japanese Golden Week.
You can check out a concept image below alongside the new roadmap for the year the franchise.
Incidentally, we hear that Muv-Luv Resonative, Muv-Luv Integrate, and Project Immortal are still being worked on, with the latter still coming this year.
If you’re interested in the Muv-Luv franchise in general, during a recent event we saw the reveal of the official title of Muv-Luv Resonative (which is the continuation of The Day After) and of more artwork from the upcoming Muv-Luv Alternative anime.
Muv-Luv Alternative The Day After has been released on Steam recently, and you can read our review.
A few months ago, we also heard the much-awaited announcement that Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien (also known as Rumbling Hearts) will finally be released in English.
For additional information, you should definitely read our interview with the series’ creator Kouki Yoshimune and producer Kazutoshi Matsumura, alongside our semi-recent chat with Kitakuou about Project Immortal.
