If you pre-order the remake on the PlayStation Store and you also own Final Fantasy XIV’s digital version, you can unlock the theme.

The offer was launched a few days ago in Japan, and made available today in North America and Europe.

The European PlayStation Store listing also mentions exactly the products eligible.

For Final Fantasy VII Remake one of the following:

  • Final Fantasy VII Remake (Digital Version)
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake Digital Deluxe Edition (Digital Version)

For Final Fantasy XIV one of the following:

  • Inal Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition
  • Final Fantasy XIV Online Complete Edition (Standard/collector’s Editions)
  • Final Fantasy XIV: a Realm Reborn
  • Final Fantasy XIV: Free Trial

The first game of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will launch on PS4 on April 10, 2020.
