Is There Romance in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order? Answered

To cut to the chase, no, there are no romance options in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Instead, the title focuses on world traversal, puzzle solving and combat to round out its gameplay.

That isn’t to say the game’s protagonist, Cal Kestis, doesn’t make any connections or bonds with characters over the course of the game. He interacts with and grows closer to several characters throughout the game, shown in cutscenes and story moments.

As a result though, any character development and the relationships that stem from them are completely out of the player’s hands, instead molded along a set path developer Respawn Entertainment wished to show through the cutscenes and story’s writing.

Will There Ever Be Romance Options in the Game?

As for whether romance options might be added to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order at a later date, the chances are slim.

While it is possible for DLC or some sort of additional content containing romance to be added to the game, it’s far more likely any DLC would be tailored around the same gameplay design as what the game offers players at present.

To that end, fans are more than free to hold out for romance to be added to the game, but their time would almost certainly be better spent moving onto another game where the feature has been confirmed.
