The first thing you’ll need to do to score green timed shots is enter a game and get near the goal.

Once you are inside of a game and get within range, do any kind of shot, then press that exact same shot button afterwards.

In order to get the proper timing, you’ll need to press the button between one and two frames after the first press. Doing so on the second button press correctly results in a green timed shot.

Obviously, this is going to take some getting used to in regards to the timing before you can really nail down how to press it a second time between frames. Once you do though, your shots will be far more precise.
