Red Dead Online: How to Get Off Hand Holster & Dual Wield

How to Get Off Hand Holster & Dual Wield in Red Dead Online

Recommended Videos

As you make your way through the vast world of Red Dead Online, you’ll start to discover little details and maybe even stumble across some things you wouldn’t have expected to see. One thing you may want to do is to get your hands on some rootin’ tootin’ dual wield weapons.

Before acquiring them, you need to unlock and purchase the Off Hand Holster. This item allows you to hold and shoot two sidearm weapons at once. Here’s everything you need to know about how to get the Off Hand Holster & dual wield.

To get started, you must reach rank 25 in Red Dead Online order to gain access to the Off Hand Holster. This shouldn’t me too difficult, especially if you’re planning on making it to the max rank, anyway.

After you’ve made it to rank 25, you can purchase the Off Hand Holster from the catalog. To access the catalog, you can press and hold Left on the D-pad while you’re in free roam mode.

Once you do so, you’ll find the item you’re looking for under Weapon Accessories.

You might notice that there are multiple Off Hand Holsters, which can be unlocked at different ranks. For now, just go ahead and grab the Horsemanship Holster, which will run you $8.50.

At this point, you’ll be able to dual wield in Red Dead Online. Just make sure you press RB/R1 and then select the two arrows that point upwards at the top of the wheel, just like in the single player version of Red Dead Redemption 2.

Now you can be the fiercest cowboy or cowgirl in the West. Or at the very least, in your server.

That covers everything you need to know about how to acquire the Off Hand Holsters and dual wielding in Red Dead Online.
