Ready for some fun in the sun? Because the Irasak Shrine in Tears of the Kingdom is deep within the Gerudo Desert, hugging the boundaries of the game. If you haven’t progressed through some of the story, you’ll have more than just heat to worry about. So, let’s get right into how to solve the Irasak Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Irasak Shrine Solution in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Getting to the Irasak Shrine in Zelda: TOTK will either be really easy or very tedious. Using the Lightning Temple as a jump-off point is better, but you’ll need to progress the main story. Instead, we’ll be using nothing but your trusty paraglider and the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower.
- Cook a bunch of stamina food.
How much stamina food do you need? Well, I have nearly two-and-a-half stamina bars. Just getting halfway, I burned through my entire reservoir twice. Both Stambulbs and Stamella Shrooms work wonderfully here. Don’t bother mixing them with anything else!
- Bring cold-resistance and heat-resistance food and clothing.
The Gerudo Desert is very hot during the day and chilly at night. Either cook cold-resistance and heat-resistance meals or bring proper clothing.
- Launch from the Gerudo Canyon Skyview Tower.
You’re heading directly southwest of the tower to reach the Irasak Shrine, avoiding the quicksand surrounding it altogether. After you step inside, you can immediately collect the Light of Blessing, as well as loot the chest for a Large Zonai Charge.
One very long flight later, and you’ve solved the Irasak Shrine in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Of course, it would’ve been simpler to paraglide from atop the Lightning Temple, but some of you love hunting shrines before anything else (including myself). If you’re up for a quick hike northwest, the Karahatag Shrine is in the neighborhood!
