It has been reported that a leak reveals the original Dark Souls will be coming soon to Xbox One via the backwards compatibility feature. The game will also be free to all those who pre-order Dark Souls 3.
As reported by VideoGamer, a user on Reddit discovered that the Australian Xbox Store page was advertising the deal. The page stated that download codes for the game would be sent out to those who pre-order Dark Souls 3. It seems the page doesn’t doesn’t show up for everyone, but we managed to get a screenshot for you.
DS hasn’t been officially announced as a backwards compatible title by Microsoft but no doubt plenty of Xbox gamers would love to revisit that brutal game.
Dark Souls 3 is due to be released on April 12 for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
