The Lego Harry Potter games launched for a myriad of systems back in 2010 and 2011: PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PSP, 3DS, PS Vita, iOS, and more. A graphically enhanced collection was released in 2016, but curiously, only for the PlayStation 4. Well, it looks like that may finally be set to change in the near future.
Pointed out by Redditor RoosterReveiws over on the Xbox One subreddit, the latest catalog from Argos, a major retailer in the UK, reveals a new page dedicated to the Lego Harry Potter Collection. While the description of the game pertains only to the PS4 version, there is some text that reads, “coming to Xbox One & Nintendo Switch in November.” It lists the price of the PS4 and Xbox One version at £19.99 ($26.20) and the Switch version at £24.99 ($32.75).
While it looks like there’s a good chance that the Lego Harry Potter Collection is coming to Switch and Xbox One, this isn’t an official announcement. We’ll have to wait for a statement from Warner Bros. Interactive before we can be 100% sure that the game is on its way.
The games contained in the collection were originally released as two separate games: Years 1-4 and Years 5-7. The Lego Harry Potter collection features both games in one package with updated graphics and all of the DLC from Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7. This includes additional characters, such as Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, and Peeves, as well as five new spells.
Lego Harry Potter Collection is currently available on PlayStation 4.
