Today GfK published (via GamesIndustry) its physical video game sales charts for the UK, focusing on the past week.
After being beaten to the chart-topping debut last week by Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War proved to have longer legs on the overall charts, despite having its sales drop 27% week-on-week.
Valhalla dropped a whole 70% week-on-week and placed fourth.
While FIFA 21 proves just how much the franchise if loved in the UK with a second place, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales manages a third place and takes the throne for sales specific to the PS5.
While sales for Miles were 57% smaller compared to the original adventure starring Peter Parker, it still managed to beat everything else on the menu on Sony’s new console after placing third last week when the hardware wasn’t even available in the country just yet.
As for the Switch, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity missed the top-5, but due to the link (no pun intended) with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild, its debuts ales were 324% bigger compare to the original Hyrule Warriors.
That being said, they were still 43% lower compared to the Link’s Awakening remake.
Below you can check out both the overall chart and the one specific to PS5, which launched in the UK on Thursday.
