I spy with my little eye.

NetherRealm Studios officially revealed the first DLC pack for Injustice 2, Fighter Pack 1, earlier today. It includes three fighters that are sure to make things interesting in the future: Starfire, Red Hood, and Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero. However, at the very end of the trailer six more silhouettes were shown off to tease the next two Fighter Packs due out for Injustice 2 in the future. While they’re dark and partially shrouded in fog we can make out a few of them based on their outlines, and the excitement is real.

On the left of the screen Black Manta is clearly shown off thanks to his uniquely shaped helmet and armor. It’s interesting to see him join the fray as he was definitely highly-requested and even appears as a background NPC in one of Injustice 2’s stages. The characters next to him are a bit more difficult to make out though. To the left it appears that we may actually be getting Booster Gold based on the simple outline. It might be a stretch, but he would definitely fit into Injustice 2’s world and new mechanics. We can’t make out who the silhouette to the right of Black Manta is though.

The right side of the image houses another Mortal Kombat characters with Raiden standing prominently in the center. However, even more exciting than the Elder God is who is potentially standing to the right of him. It’s a female silhouette that can easily be a DC or MK character. If we’re lucky, it may just be D’Vorah who was introduced in MKX and became instantly popular thanks to her tricky fighting style, interesting appearance, and amusing manner of speech. It can also be Talia al Ghul, daughter of the Demon’s Head, former flame of Batman, mother of Damian, and all around bad-ass assassin. Then there’s the outline directly to the right of Red Hood who is proving troublesome to make out.

Even with just a few being clearly recognizable, there’s plenty to be excited about with Injustice 2’s future roster. Who are you looking forward to most? Can you make out the other characters? Let us know in the comments below.
