Television
Obviously, the best gift for fans of The Walking Dead would be seasons of the television series on AMC. The first season on Blu-Ray is $24.21 and $16.43 on DVD. Subsequent seasons will run you around that same price, so why not bundle them together? Additionally, there’s Fear the Walking Dead, the recent spin-off show from that series. Blu-Rays and DVDs are around the same price for that show, too.
Comics
The Walking Dead television fans may know that it’s based on a comic book series of the same name, but do they already own them? If they don’t, well, it’s obvious what you have to do. Get them some comics! The books are ahead of the show, though, so warn them of the possible spoilers (maybe, it’s still not clear if the show will be EXACTLY the same with characters’ fates). You can grab each volume or go for compendiums that include around eight volumes per each one.
Games
Fans of The Walking Dead might enjoy a bunch of video games that will emulate that zombie survival for them. State of Decay (available on Xbox One or PC) and 7 Days to Die (available on PC) are great simulations of what it’s like to survive during a zombie apocalypse. However, if they’re a true TWD fan, then the ultimate game to get them would be The Walking Dead by Telltale Games. There are two seasons that follow a story through “episodes” and add a lot of background stories to the series. Familiar characters will make cameos, but it will follow the story of one particular group of survivors. Every action has a consequence and it’s all a part of a wonderfully crafted story. Here’s season one, and here’s the sequel with season two.
And for tabletop gamers, there’s always the Monopoly boardgame, the Best Defense boardgame, the Trivia game, and Risk.
Figures and Replicas
What fan wouldn’t love to decorate their house with figures from their favorite show? The Walking Dead has a ton of different lines to choose from. Funko Pop brings the cute with their versions of iconic characters; check out Rick, Michonne, Daryl, Glenn, Carl, and more. There are also these small figures that come in mystery packs. Gamestop’s collection is pretty great, too, with this awesome Daryl bust, Rick Grimes figure, Michonne figure, and more. They even have weapon replicas like Merle’s knife hand, Michonne’s katana, and Daryl’s crossbow.
