Resident Evil 7 Spoilers Below

While fans have known about the Not A Hero free DLC coming to Resident Evil 7 after the game’s launch, very little else was known about it. That’s all changed, however, thanks to a post-credits teaser for the upcoming expansion.

Before we go into any further detail, it’s worth noting that the nature of this DLC will give away some pretty huge story spoilers for Resident Evil 7. If you haven’t yet completed the game, you might want to turn back now.

At the very end of the game, your character is saved by none other than Chris Redfield, one of the series’ most iconic characters. However, long-term fans of the series may have noticed something isn’t right. Chris rappels down from a chopper with the Umbrella logo on the side – the evil company known for shutting down Code Veronica and normally being at the center of the outbreaks. Why exactly Chris is seemingly working for them remains to be seen, but might be something touched upon in the Not A Hero DLC.

Why? Well, at the very end of Resident Evil 7’s credits, we see Chris Redfield aiming a weapon as the DLC title appears across the screen. Unfortunately, no other details on the Not A Hero DLC have been revealed as of yet.

Currently, Capcom has announced that Not A Hero will release for free this spring. No narrower release window has been given as of yet.
