One of the relatively unknown features of the PlayStation 4 is the remote play. For most PS4 games, players are able to stream it to their Vita, PlayStation TV, or Sony Xperia device. Think of it as the PlayStation equivalent to the WiiU’s second screen feature. It’s pretty great if you still want to game while someone else would like to watch TV.
Sony Computer Entertainment’s worldwide president Shuhei Yoshida has gone and confirmed that the PS4’s remote play feature won’t just be restricted to fellow Sony devices. Today on Twitter, he confirmed that the company is working on an app for PC and Mac as well.
Some people asked if we plan to provide Remote Play function to PC, and yes, we are indeed working on an official application for PC/Mac. 😀

That’s pretty awesome, but sadly, Yoshida didn’t go into any further detail, such as a timeframe for release. Still, being able to play PS4 games on your computer is awesome and of itself.
