NetherRealm Studios will announce a new character for the upcoming fighting game sequel Injustice 2 next week.
There is a post on the game’s official web site which shows that on Monday March 13 the new fighter will be revealed to the world.
There isn’t much else to go on at this point. As you can see from the image below, not much is betrayed about who this character may be – it’s actually the same default image that’s been used to tease character reveals in the past.
Ed Boon, boss of NetherRealm Studios teased the upcoming reveal on Twitter:
Just saw the next Injustice 2 character reveal video & segment that airs Monday on @UpUpDwnDwn YouTube channel. You're gonna love it!

There has been a number of different nuggets of info around Injustice 2 recently. Swamp Thing was confirmed as a playable character, and will be shown off in a live stream scheduled on March 13. There was also a trailer just this week revealing Captain Cold, and Green Lantern.
Injustice 2 will be released on May 16 for PS4 and Xbox One.
