A new trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot has emerged during Gamescom and is centered around the Cell Saga. First, we get a view of the game world while riding the nimbus cloud with Goku and Gohan to their home and are swept into the story arc of the father and son journey.
Aside from the nimbus cloud, there’s a glimpse of a car ride and a scene where Goku and Gohan are working together to collect apples. If the series itself doesn’t have an ample focus on food, during our interview with Ryusuke Hara at E3, he mentioned that food and stats were correlated. It’s clear now as Goku and Gohan gorge on sushi, rice and other assorted foods that boost their stats.
Hara did discuss that training takes place – now seen in the trailer between Goku and Gohan. There is good reason for training, as the trailer is a good indicator that Goku and friends will have their hands full before their inevitable encounter with Cell.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot releases in early 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
