Is Mass Effect Andromeda PS4 Pro Compatible?
The newest entry in this massive Sci-Fi RPG is almost here, and as it comes closer, you may be wondering if Mass Effect Andromeda is PS4 Pro compatible.
The new entry is looking to bring the series updated graphics, characters, worlds, and effects to help immerse players in this universe. Outside of playing Mass Effect Andromeda on the PC, one of the best ways to experience this title is on the PS4 Pro. This was confirmed on the official Mass Effect Andromeda website, where they boasted that this title will run at 4K resolution. BioWare also promised improved visuals, characters models, and high dynamic range lighting for those using a PS4 Pro.
If you plan on buying Mass Effect Andromeda on a regular PlayStation 4, you will have a slight downgrade to 1080p . There will also be HDR support for both Xbox One and PS4, so don’t worry too much if you didn’t purchase Sony’s upgraded console if you have an HDR capable television.
Sadly, the actual framerate will not increase or improve if you are using a PlayStation 4 Pro, as the game will run at 30 frames-per-second regardless of what console you use.
Mass Effect Andromeda drops on PS4, Xbox One, and Pc March 21.
