Halo 5 Forge Player Recreates 1:1 Replica of Beloved Halo 2 Map

This train doesn't stop..

Halo 5: Guardians’ Forge mode is stunning, giving Halo players almost an infinite amount of possibilities to toy around with. YouTube user FPS Gamer (Foxy Papa Smurf) recreated one of Halo 2’s most cherished maps — Terminal, inside Halo 5: Guardians.

As mentioned in the video, FPS Gamer states that one of the hardest parts of recreating this Halo 2 classic is the unpredictable train that barrels through the station. In previous Halo games, it was nearly impossible to create something like this but with Halo 5: Guardians’ Forge Mode, players can use the new scripting ability to trigger the train to speed through the map.

The recreated Forge map is now called Station 7 and FPS Gamer wanted to make sure it was as close to the original as possible. He even measured certain aspects of the map with the Warthog vehicle to make sure everything was in the same position as the original. Due to Spartan’s new mobility functions in Halo 5, FPS Gamer had to make some areas of the map inaccessible just like the original Terminal, this way players couldn’t go to places that the original Halo 2 map didn’t allow.

Some of the other changes found in Station 7, is the addition of the Mongoose vehicle. According to FPS Gamer, the Mongoose has an easier time attacking the Wraith tank and also allows another player to hitch a ride around the map.

The map is available to download via ForgeHub, to be sure to check it out!
