The Evolution Championship Series is the biggest fighting game tournament in the world. Every year, thousands of people from around the planet come together to compete for huge prizes and to prove they’re the best in the world. This year, nine tournaments will take place at Evo 2016.

This year will be the Evo debut for Street Fighter V, Pokken Tournament, and Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator. Tekken 7 was added as a bonus when MadCatz community manager Mark Julio defeated Evo founder Joey Cuellar in an exhibition match.
The tournament take place July 15-17 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. On Sunday, five games will have their final matches at the Mandalay Bay Event Center. The 12,000-seat arena will feature Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Mortal Kombat X, Guilty Gear Xrd Revelator, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
