There will be queues.

Though Bungie took Destiny 2’s servers offline earlier today and have since delayed the game’s online functionality, the company has outlined the latest changes coming to the game once its servers are operational again. The update will attempt to resolve some lingering issues PlayStation 4 and Xbox One users are having with the game, including collecting the MIDA Mini-Tool.

Keep in mind that the patch is obligatory and that consoles will verify previously downloaded content before adding new updates. If there are issues found or the process is stopped somehow, all content will be deleted and downloaded once again. Some systems may display a different name for the update than the one listed above, but that’s perfectly OK.

Fans should also note that queues are bound to run rampart once online is operational again, meaning that during these periods of high traffic players are more likely to experience problems depending on population. This is to provide stable connections for gameplay among players. They should take note that leaving the queue doesn’t retain their spot and losing a connection means they’ll have to start the queue all over again.

Destiny 2’s official 1.03 update patch notes are as follows:

  • Clans: An issue that made Clan Rosters not display in-game has been fixed.
  • Items: Fixed an issue that caused players to not receive MIDA Mini-Tool when they have a full weapon inventory. Players can obtain their missing MIDA Mini-Tool from Devrim Kay.
  • General: Fixed a rare memory leak that would result in a crash.
