CD Projekt RED is getting into the giving spirit and donating a massive The Witcher 3: Wild hunt statue to be auctioned off for charity.
The 100kg, 2.5 meter tall figure of Geralt battling a Noonwraith will go to the highest bidder as part of the Grand Finale of The Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, one of Poland’s largest charity organizations. The proceeds will go towards buying medical equipment for pediatric centers and providing seniors with quality medical care.
The statue up until now has been a permanent fixture in the CD Projekt RED studio, appearing in interviews and photos, as well as standing alongside the team throughout much of The Witcher 3’s development. It’s also perfect in case your living room needs a little more banshee demon decor.
So far the auction has only one bid at 10,000 Polish zloty, which amounts to a little over $2,500. Bidding ends Jan. 17, and you can throw down your own offer before then on the official (and very foreign) auction page. CD Projekt RED has some English to Polish instructions posted on their site if you need help.
