Blizzard Entertainment announced the full schedule for its BlizzCon 2021 online-only event for both days, Feb. 19 and Feb. 20.
BlizzCon will begin on Friday, Feb. 19 at 5 p.m. ET with the opening ceremony with it expected to end at 6:10 p.m. ET. The event will then split off into six channels between the main Blizzard channel, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Diablo, Overwatch, and strategy channels until the end at 8:40 p.m. ET.
The World of Warcraft channel will host the development team discussing the latest content coming to the game, followed by a “deep dive” with the team, and finally a behind-the-scenes with the voice actors.
Diablo will follow the same suit with its development team discussing what is coming to the franchise, a developer roundtable, and a deep dive as well.
Hearthstone will receive its own deep dive of what is coming to the digital collectible card game, while the Overwatch channel will host a behind-the-scenes look at Overwatch 2.
The second day of the event will host Q&A’s for World of Warcraft, Diablo, and Hearthstone followed by a community showcase. The channels will then host various events involving crafts, cooking, and a Diablo-themed Dungeons and Dragons adventure.
While Blizzard may have new announcements for its existing titles, Overwatch 2 or Diablo 4 are not expected to release this year, according to the Activision Blizzard financial conference call last week.
