PlayStation Store’s Biggest Selling Games of 2015 Revealed

Sony has revealed the biggest selling titles on the PlayStation Store for December and the whole of 2015.

In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony has explained that the sales chart for December was delayed because they ‘took the liberty of tracking down the charts for the whole year.’ The post reveals the top 20 games on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, as well as the top 10s for PS4 add-ons, PS3 add-ons, PS Vita games, and PS Classics for the whole of 2015.

The top 5 PlayStation 4 Games on the PlayStation Store in 2015 were:

1. Call of Duty: Black Ops III
2. Grand Theft Auto V
3. Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition
4. Star Wars Battlefront
5. Fallout 4

The top 5 PlayStation 3 Games on the PlayStation Store in 2015 were:

1. Minecraft: PlayStation 3 Edition
2. Call of Duty: Black Ops III
3. Grand Theft Auto V
4. Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection
5. Destiny

The top 5 PlayStation Vita Games on the PlayStation Store in 2015 were:

1. Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment-
2. Minecraft: PlayStation Vita Edition
3. Gravity Rush
4. Freedom Wars
5. Soul Sacrifice Delta

The top games on each platform do not come as a huge surprise, especially Minecraft being in the top three of each list. The full lists for December 2015 and the whole of 2015 can be seen on the PlayStation Blog here.
