Change Outfits – Berserk and the Band of the Hawk
Berserk doesn’t have much in the way of playable characters. In fact, there are only eight including Guts. However, there is still plenty of variety thanks to the outfits system. Changing a character’s outfit doesn’t just change their outward appearance in Berserk, but can change their stats, sub-weapons, and even attacks as well. Of course, you’ll have to first unlock the characters and their outfits before you can start trying things out.
Once you do have a couple of characters and outfits unlocked in Berserk, changing them is simple. Pick the mission you want to play, then, when it’s time to pick your character, press Triangle. This will bring up the outfit menu. Do note that if you have yet to unlock any outfits for a character, then the Triangle button will not do anything. Also, if you’re playing through Story Mode, you can only change the costume of usable characters. You can go to Free Mode to play with whoever you want.
Once you change your costume in Berserk, it will be your default until you reach a mission that forces you to use a specific skin. Once you beat said mission, though, you can switch back to whichever one you prefer.
