Atlus Reconfirms Persona 5’s Summer Release, Plans For Other Large Titles in 2016

Do it for senpai.

persona 5, predictions, e3, 2016

Persona 5 will indeed be released this summer, according to an interview with CEO Naoto Hiraoka as posted on Hachima Kikou. After the disappointing announcement of the game’s delay back in late 2015, it certainly is heartening to hear that Persona 5 is back on track, and that fans can expect to get their hands on it this summer.

Other than that, Atlus has also stated that they plan to release other large titles, and that “this will be a year Atlus’ popular series all gather together.” Well that sounds exciting. We already know we’re getting Persona 5, Odin Sphere, and Shin Megami Tensei IV: Final. Maybe there’s a slight chance that we’ll see Etrian Odyssey V in 2016 as well? Part of me desperately hopes that a new Shin Megami Tensei game will find its way to home consoles once again.

What other titles do you think Atlus has up their sleeve for 2016? Let us know in the comments.

Thanks, Gematsu, for the translation.
