Thirty Minutes of Chroma Squad Gameplay For Your Eyeballs

Unless you’re able to be in more than one place at a time, chances are you missed some stuff at PAX East. Hell, I know I missed a ton of stuff, and one of them was regretfully the sentai inspired Chroma Squadfrom Behold Studios. Luckily, Behold was nice enough to post the entire 30-minute demo on their YouTube channel.

Chroma Squad is a homage to Japanese sentai television shows — e.g., Power Rangers. In the game players will be creating their own sentai television show by casting actors, and partaking in the game’s tactical turn-based combat once the cameras start rolling. The demo gives an excellent look at the alpha build of the game, and I can’t wait to build a sentai show of my own — I think I’ll call it Destiny’s Sentai Child.

The game is set to release later this year on Steam, however, if you can’t wait to make your own hit sentai television show, alpha access is available with a $25 dollar pre-order of the game here.
