If you’re a fan of atmospheric adventure games, you might want to keep an eye on this Steam bundle. The bundle runs from Tuesday, October 24 to Friday, October 27 – 11 am Pacific Time. The Steam Explorer’s Bundle offers six modern adventure games at discounted prices.
Among the offerings are Firewatch, developed by Campo Santo, in which you undertake the role of a forest fire lookout in the wilderness of Wyoming. Firewatch is rich in atmosphere, with some amazing voice acting. Another notable game is Tacoma, a sci-fi exploration game from the developer Fullbright. Fullbright was the developer behind the popular adventure game Gone Home. If you enjoyed the moody, haunting tone of Gone Home, then Tacoma will be another great title to add to your collection.
The six games in the Explorer’s Bundle are Tacoma, Firewatch, The Witness, Quern, Samorost 3, and Obduction. If you’ve been hankering for something a little calmer and more introspective than some of the recently released blockbuster games, any of these games should whet your appetite.
