Rainbow Six Siege Breaches Stores This Fall

Get ready to breach and clear this October.

It’s been a very long time since Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six franchise has had a new entry. The last game was Rainbow Six Vegas 2, which was released back in the primitive space year of 2008. Fans of the tactical shooter were ecstatic when Rainbow Six Siege was revealed via crying Aisha Tyler at E3 last year and ready to jump in. Luckily, they won’t have to wait much longer.

Today, Ubisoft announced that Rainbow Six Siege will be hitting the PS4, PC, and Xbox One worldwide on October 13. This being a Ubisoft title, it’ll also come out in multiple editions. If the standard $60 edition doesn’t suit you, maybe you’ll be more disposed towards Art of Siege or Gold edition. The former comes with the game, collector’s box, Gold Skins pack for all the weapons, and a 120-page tactical guide. The Gold edition is the standard edition of Rainbow Six Siege, just with a season pass (which the AoS edition will lack). The UPlay shop will stock the Tactical Elite edition exclusively, which is the AoS edition with the season pass. No details on what the season pass gets you or how much each of these cost, but as soon as the details come out, we’ll let you know. Pre-ordering the game will let you into the closed beta kicking off later this year, and anyone who pre-orders through UPlay will also get a numbered steel book when the game releases.
