Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Episode 2: Giant Consequences is coming soon, and Telltale has released a sneak peek trailer in anticipation of the release date. The second season continues the story of Jesse and pals after they discover a mysterious gauntlet while exploring an underwater temple.
This new season of Minecraft: Story Mode is perfect for those who want to include the kids in their Telltale fun, and makes a great wind down after playing the violent and dramatic first episode of Batman: The Enemy Within. I’ve always found Minecraft to feel a bit lifeless, but after playing the first season of Story Mode, the world has come alive for me.
Starting with this season Minecraft: Story Mode also includes the new Crowd Play feature. With this, you can allow up to 2,000 people to vote on decisions for your playthrough on Twitch and other services. While this series hasn’t been as warmly received as some of Telltale’s other games, there’s a lot of fun to be had here, and it’s ideal for playing with friends or family.
If you haven’t gotten around to playing the first season yet, you’re in luck. Pretty much every system available offers a version of Minecraft: Story Mode to play, so if you have a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Linux, Android, or iOS device, you can get all eight episodes for around $24.99 or under.
You don’t have long to wait for Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2 Episode 2 either. It’ll release on August 15 for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
