Awesome Grand Theft Auto V Video Recreates the Magnum, P.I. Intro

I know what you're thinking. You're right; a 2013 game is still relevant today.

2013’s 2015’s release of Grand Theft Auto V on the PC pleased many to much delight modding and pushing the boundaries of his or her graphics cards to one’s heart’s content. With the inclusion of the Rockstar Editor, things got expectedly nutty. It also jettisoned several film-making opportunities yielding both serious and nostalgic results.

Youtube user btz fuels the latter of the pair. In it, they recreate a scene-by-scene remake of the infamous introduction sequence to Magnum, P.I. slapped in a side-by-side video presented below. An impressive video that mirrors the original scenes and costumes, save for a few animation issues.

Two weeks ago, btz gave another decades-old show the Grand Theft Auto V remake treatment: Hanna Barbera’s “Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!” where, again, btz hits most of the same beats of the intro. It’s no “The Greatest Event in Television History,” but the relative equal level of detail btz puts into their remakes should be commended to high regard.

What other crazy, elaborate intros do you want to see next?
