EA Will Release Mass Effect 4 Within 12 Months, Says Pachter

Let's hope the Reapers don't come before then.

Well-known Wedbush analyst Michael Pachter has given the world his latest prediction on movements of the gaming industry. As release schedules move forward and our eyes turn as one towards the announcement mecca that is E3, Pachter expects publisher EA to bring some of its biggest games to market before this financial year ends, including Mass Effect 4.

The group, which constantly analyses market patterns to try to predict what will be coming in all manner of industries, state that they expect the American publishing giant to bring its own fair share of heavy-hitting franchises to market before the end of March 2016.

FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases Mass Effect 4, Mirror’s Edge 2, a new Need For Speed game, and Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15.

This is all of course nothing more than speculation. EA have done nothing more than confirmed the existence of both Mass Effect 4 and Mirror’s Edge 2. No release dates have yet been confirmed, although it wouldn’t take any sort of dark magic to figure that we’ll hear more about these two giants, along with everything else in EA’s armory, at E3 in June of this year.

Until then, let’s just hope the people over at Wedbush Securities are on the mark. There has been a distinct lack of Omni-Tool use in the world since the beginning of 2014.
