EA Loses the Chance to Threepeat as Worst Company in America

Threepeats are hard. Unless you’re Michael Jordan or Kobe/Shaq. EA has won the title of Worst Company in America the last two years running, and many assumed that they would take the crown again. Underdogs Time Warner Cable however, weren’t going to go down without a fight. Hot on the heels of the Net Neutrality fiasco, TWC came out swinging and downed the champs in the first round of voting.

On a more serious note, it’s good to finally see EA not be demonized. With all the companies out there literally stealing from people and putting them out of their homes, you’d think that EA and their server missteps weren’t that big of deal. This should show EA that gamers, while they have the capacity to be the kindest and most generous people on the planet, can be some of the most petty people alive when you mess with their games (or internet) as Time Warner Cable is finding out the hard way.
