Prepare to die all over again.
The compilation version of Dark Souls 2 for the Xbox One is now available to be pre-ordered and pre-loaded onto the console according to Xbox Live’s director of programming Larry Hryb, AKA Major Nelson.
The title is an upcoming upgrade and bundle of Dark Souls II that will bring the game to Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It will bundle the three previously released DLC packs, Crown of the Sunken King, Crown of the Old Iron King, and Crown For the Ivory King along with new features and content. It will feature new bosses, NPCs, events, items, item placement, and a slew of lore changes. The move to the new consoles also means updated graphics, audio, and performance, along with an increase in the maximum amount of online players in single session.
A free update was made available for all Dark Souls II players on February 5th, 2015, bringing gameplay enhancements and new story elements to prepare for the Scholar of the First Sin.
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin is scheduled to release on April 7th of this year for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC from publisher Namco Bandai Games and developer From Software.
