While I wrote “new,” Konrad Tomaszkiewicz is certainly not a novice, as he covered the prominent role of game director on CD Projekt RED’s latest ultra-successful RPG The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Tomaszkiewicz’s Linkedin page reveals that he has settled in the new role as of February 2019.

Before directing The Witcher 3, he worked as lead quest designer, senior designer, and lead gameplay designer on The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, and designer on the original The Witcher, which also marked the beginning of his career in 2004 as QA tester.

If you’d like to see more of Cyberpunk 2077, you can check out the recent gameplay reveal, read about the team’s goals in terms of quality, and about their efforts to build Night City.

The Witcher series counts certainly as an exceptional pedigree, as you can read in our review of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and the one of its arguably best expansion, Blood and Wine.

Cyberpunk 2077 doesn’t yet have a release date, but we know that it’s coming for PS4, Xbox One, and PC at some time in the future. We recently heard that the game is going to be showcased at E3 2019 in June, even if this will probably surprise no one.
