Well, developers over at Studio Wildcard have officially shown off some of their new take on the open-world dinosaur survival game called Ark: Survival Evolved, and the game looks fantastic.

Ark: Survival Evolved

The almost four minute announcement trailer on Youtube shows off various features that the game allows you to indulge yourself in, each creating more and more excitement for dinosaur fans everywhere. The description of the video reads as follows:

“As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing and starving on the shores of a mysterious island called ARK, use your skill and cunning to kill or tame & ride the leviathan dinosaurs and other primeval creatures roaming the land. Hunt, harvest resources, craft items, grow crops, research technologies, and build shelters to withstand the elements, while teaming up with or preying upon hundreds of other players to survive, dominate… and escape!”

Ark: Survival Evolved  is currently still in development and is slated to be released for Steam Windows/Mac/Linux, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
