Xbox One players have had lots of features added to their console since it was first launched. At E3 2016 it was announced the console would become backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games and now it seems a game gifting mechanic is on its way.
The game gifting feature will allow players to buy digital copies of games as gifts for their friends. The feature has been confirmed when a fan on Twitter asked Xbox’s corporate vice president, Mike Ybarra, how long it’ll be before such a feature is available.
Not far!

When the feature comes to the Xbox One, it’ll mean that only gamers who use Steam and the Xbox One can gift games as currently such a feature isn’t available on the PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch. No doubt many Xbox gamers will be looking forward to this feature being launched so they can purchase games for their friends and loved ones.
