With E3 still five months down the line in June, Xbox boss Phil Spencer has teased the lineup for Xbox for the annual trade show.
On Twitter, Spencer was asked if he felt positive about the lineup of game that would be showcased for the Xbox; he responded with, “Yes, in another E3 review right now; I like the lineup.”
Spencer has recently talked about the importance of “new experiences with different IP.” He spoke of 2017 not being a Gears of War or Halo-led affair: “XB1 games shipping this year are different for us. not Halo FPS/Gears led, new experiences with different IP, will be fun year.”
It will be interesting to see, in the coming months, if there are any pre-E3 reveals in terms of new software. Project Scorpio is scheduled for release this holiday season, and so will likely see a big reveal at this year’s E3; to go along with the big hardware announcement, it’s looking like Microsoft is keen to push some experience to go along with it.
